In 2008, I embarked on my professional journey at Trade Show Factory, becoming its inaugural member. My role involved spearheading comprehensive web projects, leveraging Joomla CMS to address previous developmental challenges. Over time, I honed my skills in responsive design, utilizing tools like Bootstrap and Semantic UI. As our team evolved, I transitioned to crafting visual designs, facilitating seamless collaboration with our development team to deliver mobile apps for various trade shows.
Driven by a commitment to enhancing user and customer experiences, I expanded my expertise into UX and CX. This knowledge proved invaluable when I joined Trade Show Consulting, where I further refined my skills while incorporating insights from the trade show industry into my digital projects.
After seven years of invaluable experience, I founded Distrito Studio, my own digital marketing agency. Leading cross-functional teams, managing operations, and cultivating client relationships allowed me to elevate my leadership and technological competencies. Additionally, obtaining certification in cybersecurity underscored my commitment to professional growth.
In 2015, I expanded my horizons by delving into language ontology and human behaviors, enriching my understanding of user-centric design principles. This endeavor not only deepened my grasp of human-centered design but also equipped me with valuable insights into the intricacies of human behaviors. Furthermore, alongside my professional endeavors, I have dedicated myself to mentoring and coaching other designers on a one-on-one basis, nurturing their talents and guiding them towards fulfilling career trajectories. Through personalized guidance and support, I have had the privilege of witnessing the growth and development of fellow designers, empowering them to realize their full potential in the dynamic field of digital design.
Following the closure of Distrito Studio, I joined Agencia Huit, where I played a pivotal role in transitioning the agency into an inbound and digital marketing powerhouse. My responsibilities encompassed digital strategy development, UX architecture, web design, and event organization, highlighting my versatility and leadership capabilities.
Seeking new challenges, I relocated to the US to join Addon Technologies as a UX Lead Designer, where I collaborated with Verizon to overhaul their product offerings, enhancing both UI aesthetics and business functionality.
Driven by a desire for further exploration, I pivoted to the financial services sector, joining Visa, Inc. as a VBS Platform Manager. Here, I focus on optimizing user experiences across Visa’s commercial products portfolio, contributing to a narrative of ongoing growth and innovation.
As I embark on this new chapter, I remain committed to leveraging my expertise to shape exceptional digital experiences and contribute to the ever-evolving landscape of technology and design.
